Let there be Light!
One of the most beneficial and often overlooked additions to a custom home is lighting control. Lighting control gives the homeowner the ability to change the mood of their environment at their fingertips.
Having this level of control is the first step into home automation. Combining automation electronics with lighting control makes events such as a fire alarm safer for a family by illuminating a path to the closest exit. In the case of a burglary attempt all of the outdoor lighting should go to full intensity to scare off the burglar and to allow the cameras to capture a clearer image of the perpetrator.
Also having control of the lighting in a theater allows for the lights to be automatically dimmed when the movie starts. |
